5:57am on the road---3:05pm in Brighton! WHOOT! That's what I call a road trip!
Kids are amazing as always, this whole trip was a retro throw back to the days before in-car TV! We just listened to audio tapes. The tail end of Shark Beneath The Reef, and then popped in Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix! The miles just flew by!
Once home, we were greeted by a sign of welcome from Jerry, and a trip to the tennis courts topped off the afternoon. We enjoyed a long dinner together catching up on things, and chatting about the week ahead. Jake is home on leave and he has contacted us about visiting, so he will be coming for dinner tomorrow/ this will be a challenge for me.
