I am in NJ for my Aunt Margaret's funeral. She was 86, had altzheimers and had had a stroke last week. But you know what? They are always your mom or dad, no matter what, and you miss them like crazy when they are gone. I know my cousins do not expect me, but I feel like if you share the good times(shower and wedding last fall, party this summer)then you need to share the sad times too. This is where the homeschool thing comes in..we brought Dannys school box along, and he can work and field trip around the area. Hope it goes well!
